# What You'll Need:
→ Filling
01 - 3.5 oz fresh spinach, chopped
02 - 4.4 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 2.1 oz shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 1 garlic clove, minced
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
→ Pastry
07 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed (approximately 8.8 oz)
08 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
→ Decoration
09 - 24 small fresh basil leaves
# How to Make It:
01 - Set the oven temperature to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
02 - Place the chopped spinach in a pan over medium heat for 1 minute until wilted; drain excess moisture and allow to cool slightly.
03 - Combine the wilted spinach, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl until smooth and homogenous.
04 - Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet and divide it into 24 equal squares, approximately 2 x 2 inches each.
05 - Spoon a heaping teaspoon of the filling into the center of each pastry square.
06 - Fold each square's four corners toward the center, pinching the edges together to create a four-leaf clover shape.
07 - Brush the tops of each formed pastry with the beaten egg to ensure a golden finish.
08 - Place the pastries on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes until golden and puffed.
09 - Remove from oven and immediately adorn each bite with a fresh basil leaf to mimic a clover.
10 - Allow the bites to cool slightly before serving to ensure optimal texture and flavor.
