04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

08 - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

09 - 3/4 cup shelled unsalted pistachios, roughly chopped

→ Decoration (Optional)

10 - 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
11 - Festive sprinkles or edible glitter
12 - Mini pretzel sticks (for tree trunks)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
03 - In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
04 - Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Stir in chopped pistachios.
05 - Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Bake for 23 to 25 minutes until center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
06 - Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
07 - Lift blondies from pan using parchment overhang and cut into triangles resembling Christmas trees.
08 - Melt white chocolate and drizzle over triangles. Add festive sprinkles and insert a mini pretzel stick at the base of each triangle to form the trunk.
09 - Allow decorations to set before serving.
