Air-Fryer Tornado Potatoes (Printable)

Crispy spiral potatoes, seasoned and air-fried on skewers for a flavorful snack or side dish.

# What You'll Need:

→ Potatoes

01 - 4 medium russet potatoes, scrubbed

→ Seasonings

02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ Optional Toppings

07 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (omit for vegan preparation)
08 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
09 - 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Carefully insert a long wooden or metal skewer lengthwise through the center of each potato.
02 - Securely hold the skewer and use a sharp knife to slice in a spiral motion, rotating the potato while cutting from one end to the other. Gently stretch the potato to separate the spirals evenly along the skewer.
03 - Combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Brush or rub the blend over each spiraled potato, ensuring seasoning penetrates between all layers.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for approximately 3 minutes.
05 - Arrange the skewered potatoes in the air fryer basket without overlapping. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, rotating the skewers halfway through the cooking time, until potatoes are crisp and golden.
06 - Optionally, garnish the cooked potatoes with grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, and chili flakes before serving.
