# What You'll Need:
→ Hot Chocolate
01 - 2 cups whole milk
02 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
03 - 3.5 oz bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
04 - 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
05 - 2 tbsp granulated sugar
06 - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
07 - Pinch of salt
→ Marshmallow Bar
08 - 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
09 - 1 tbsp unsalted butter
10 - 1/2 cup crisp rice cereal
# How to Make It:
01 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine whole milk and heavy cream. Heat until steaming but avoid boiling.
02 - Whisk in chopped bittersweet chocolate, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Continue whisking until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture achieves a smooth texture.
03 - Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and keep the mixture warm.
04 - Melt unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Add mini marshmallows and microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted.
05 - Mix in crisp rice cereal until all pieces are evenly coated with the melted marshmallow mixture.
06 - Press the mixture into a small parchment-lined dish to approximately 1/2 inch thickness. Let rest for 5 minutes to set, then cut into bars.
07 - Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top each serving with a marshmallow bar, allowing it to float and melt slightly into the beverage.
