- Fruit: 1 cup (150 g) fresh raspberries 1 cup (150 g) strawberries halved 1 cup (150 g) seedless grapes
- Sweet Dips: 1/2 cup (120 ml) lemon curd 1/2 cup (120 ml) vanilla yogurt
Instructions
- Prepare the Angel Wings:
- a. In a large bowl whisk together flour salt and sugar. b. Add egg yolks sour cream melted butter and vanilla. Mix until a soft dough forms. c. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes. d. Roll the dough out very thin (about 1/8 inch/3 mm). Cut into 1 x 4-inch (2.5 x 10 cm) strips. Make a 1-inch slit in the center of each strip and pull one end through to form a twist. e. Heat 2 inches (5 cm) of oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry angel wings in batches until golden and crisp about 1 minute per side. Drain on paper towels and dust generously with powdered sugar.
